Today we went to the Josephine County Fair here in Grants Pass Oregon. It just happened to be the hottest day of the year so far. It was supposed to be around 110 degrees but when we got back to the car in that hot parking lot it said 115 degrees…no wonder I felt like a crispy critter. One upside to 115 degree at the fair….no lines! As you can see from my video there were no lines for the zipper or other rides, no lines for the food stands or any of the booths. That part was great, but it was too hot to stay for very long. We did have fun and the blow up water slide was the favorite part of the day and the giant swamp cooler. 🙂

I normally get very red faced when I am in the heat and playing sports, but I don’t think I have ever been as red as I was today. Wow, I was so hot it drained me. I was exhausted the rest of the day, but I feel like I got some good exercise walking around.

I include a lot of fair footage and some deer going thru the yard along with my update.
